Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Sales Development Representative to join our remote team across South Africa. You will own the top of the funnel by researching and booking meetings with qualified decision makers, creating a strong first impression for Blacksmith Agency.

This role emphasizes thoughtful outreach using LinkedIn, Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to hit volume goals while maintaining high-quality touches. Prior SDR/BDR experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR or BDR role; agency or SaaS experience a plus.
• Ability to personalize outreach and communicate effectively in writing.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
