Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is hiring Sales Development Representatives across South Africa who will own the top of the funnel— researching, sourcing and booking meetings with qualified decision makers, and creating the first impression of Blacksmith Agency for potential clients.

You will work remotely across SA, leveraging tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo, and Salesforce to build and maintain a strong pipeline and help drive inbound opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR/BDR role or SaaS/agency experience is a plus.
• Strong written communication and ability to personalize outreach.
• Gritty, curious, and coachable, with a best-in-class work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging and optimize targeting with the sales team.
