Job summary

Blacksmith Agency LLC in South Africa is hiring Sales Development Representatives to open doors and drive pipeline nationwide. As an outbound BDR, you own the top of the funnel: researching, sourcing and booking meetings with qualified decision makers, while making the first impression of Blacksmith to potential clients.

This role requires a minimum of two years in SDR/BDR work, strong written communication, and comfort with Salesforce, SalesLoft and other outbound tools.

Qualifications

• 2 years in an SDR or BDR role, agency or SaaS experience is a plus.
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
