Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking Sales Development Representatives across South Africa to open doors and drive pipeline. As an SDR, you will research accounts, build contact lists and book qualified meetings with decision makers, shaping the first impression of Blacksmith to potential clients.

You will use tools like LinkedIn, Sales Navigator, SalesLoft and Salesforce to run thoughtful outreach, maintain accurate records and iterate messaging to hit volume goals with quality.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR/BDR role (agency or SaaS a plus).
• Strong written communication and ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
