Job summary

Blacksmith Agency, a South Africa–based firm, is seeking a Sales Development Representative to open doors and build pipeline across the country. You will own the top of the funnel by researching target accounts, sourcing contacts, and booking meetings with decision makers, shaping the first impression of Blacksmith for potential clients.

You will leverage LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to craft personalized outreach, manage your own pipeline, and hit volume targets

Qualifications

• 2 years in SDR/BDR role; agency or SaaS experience a plus.
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiar with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
