Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is hiring Sales Development Representatives across South Africa to open doors and drive pipeline. You will own the top of the funnel, researching and booking meetings with qualified decision makers, creating a strong first impression for Blacksmith Agency.

This role focuses on thoughtful outbound outreach using LinkedIn, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to meet volume goals while maintaining high-quality touchpoints. Remote working within South Africa is available.

Qualifications

• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• 2 years in a similar SDR or BDR role, agency or SaaS experience a plus.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
