Job summary

Blacksmith Agency LLC is seeking Sales Development Representatives to drive pipeline across South Africa. You will own the top of the funnel, researching accounts, sourcing decision makers, and booking meetings with qualified prospects, shaping the first impression of Blacksmith.

This is not about cold emailing spam; you’ll perform thoughtful outreach using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to hit volume goals while maintaining high-quality touchpoints.

Qualifications

• 2 years in an SDR/BDR role; agency or SaaS experience a plus.
• Strong written communication and personalization skills.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo, ZoomInfo.
• Experience with Salesforce and pipeline management.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean Salesforce and SalesLoft records.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and feedback loops with the sales team.
