Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative to join our remote South Africa team. You will own the top of the funnel, researching accounts, identifying decision makers and booking discovery calls for our Account Executives.

You will craft personalised outreach via email, LinkedIn and phone, maintain clean Salesforce records and collaborate with the sales team to improve messaging and targeting. Prior SDR or BDR experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 years in an SDR/BDR role.
• Agency or SaaS experience is a plus.
• Strong written communication.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
