Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a talented Sales Development Representative to drive pipeline across South Africa. You will own the top of the funnel: researching ideal accounts, identifying decision makers and booking meetings with qualified prospects.

You will use tools like LinkedIn Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to craft personalized outreach, maintain accurate records and support Account Executives. This is a remote, full-time SA role with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR or BDR role.
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
