Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is hiring Sales Development Representatives across South Africa who are hungry to open doors and drive pipeline. As Outbound Business Development Representative, you own the top of the funnel: researching, sourcing and booking meetings with qualified decision makers, and creating the first impression of Blacksmith Agency for potential clients.

This is a remote role, with South Africa as the operating region.

Qualifications

• B2B sales experience preferred; quota carrying is a plus.
• 2+ years in an SDR/BDR role; agency or SaaS is a plus.
• Strong written communication and ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools and CRM is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean Salesforce and SalesLoft records.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback with the sales team.
