Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is hiring Sales Development Representatives across South Africa who will own the top of the funnel, researching, sourcing and booking meetings with qualified decision makers. This is a remote, full-time role focused on creating first impressions of Blacksmith Agency for potential clients.

You will use tools like LinkedIn Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to hit volume goals while maintaining high-quality outreach and accurate pipeline management.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR/BDR role, agency or SaaS experience is a plus.
• Strong written communication and ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
