Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is hiring Sales Development Representatives across South Africa who will own the top of the funnel: researching, sourcing and booking meetings with qualified decision makers, and creating the first impression of Blacksmith Agency for potential clients. This is a remote role across South Africa.

You will use tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to hit volume goals while maintaining high-quality touches.

Qualifications

• 2 years in an SDR/BDR role or similar
• Experience with outbound outreach and prospecting
• Familiarity with outbound tools and CRM systems (Salesforce, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft
• Test messaging and optimize targeting with the sales team
