Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a proactive Sales Development Representative across South Africa. You will research, source, and book meetings with qualified decision makers, creating the first impression of Blacksmith for potential clients.

This is a hands-on role focusing on thoughtful outreach and building pipeline. You'll work with tools like Salesforce, Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo to hit volume goals while maintaining high-quality touches.

Qualifications

• 2 years in SDR or BDR role, agency or SaaS experience a plus
• Strong written communication and ability to personalize outreach
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline
• Gritty, curious and coachable

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team
