Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is hiring Sales Development Representatives across South Africa who will own the top of the funnel—researching, sourcing and booking meetings with qualified decision makers, and creating the first impression of Blacksmith for potential clients.

You will use LinkedIn, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to reach targets, maintain clean records, and collaborate with Account Executives to convert interest into discovery calls.

Qualifications

• 2 years in SDR/BDR roles (agency or SaaS a plus).
• Strong written communication with ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools: Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo, ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging and optimize targeting with the sales team.
