Job summary

Blacksmith Agency in South Africa is hiring Sales Development Representatives across the country who are hungry to open doors and drive pipeline. As an SDR, you own the top of the funnel by researching, sourcing and booking meetings with qualified decision makers, creating the first impression of Blacksmith Agency for potential clients.

You will build targeted lists, outreach sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone, and work with Account Executives to convert prospects.

Qualifications

• 2 years in an SDR/BDR role or similar outbound sales experience.
• Excellent written communication with the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools and prospecting sequences.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build contact lists.
• Craft personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging and optimize targeting with the sales team.
