Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is hiring Sales Development Representatives across South Africa who are hungry to open doors and drive pipeline. You will research, source and book meetings with qualified decision makers, and create the first impression of Blacksmith for potential clients.

This role focuses on thoughtful outbound outreach using LinkedIn, email and phone, with CRM tools like Salesforce and SalesLoft. 2 years in SDR/BDR roles and strong written communication are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR or BDR role or equivalent experience.
• Proven ability to craft personalized outreach and engage decision makers.
• Familiarity with outbound sequences across email, LinkedIn and phone.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging and optimize targeting with the sales team.
