Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a proactive Sales Development Representative to open doors and drive pipeline across South Africa. You will own the top of the funnel: researching accounts, sourcing contacts, and booking meetings with decision makers to make a strong first impression.

You’ll use LinkedIn, Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to run thoughtful outreach, build target lists, and maintain clean CRM records while hitting volume goals with quality touches.

Qualifications

• 2 years in SDR/BDR role; agency or SaaS experience a plus.
• Strong written communication and ability to personalize outreach.
• Experience with outbound tools (Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo, ZoomInfo) and CRM.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
