Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a proactive Sales Development Representative to own the top of the funnel across South Africa. You will research, source, and book meetings with qualified decision makers while representing Blacksmith in every outreach touchpoint.

Ideal candidates have approximately 2 years in SDR/BDR roles, solid written communication, and familiarity with Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo, ZoomInfo, and Salesforce. This is a full-time remote role within South Africa.

Qualifications

• 2 years in an SDR/BDR role, agency or SaaS experience is a plus.
• Strong written communication and ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
