Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is hiring a Sales Development Representative to own the top of the funnel across South Africa. You will research ideal accounts, identify decision makers, and craft personalized outreach via email, LinkedIn and phone to book discovery calls for our Account Executives.

Proven SDR experience, strong writing, and familiarity with tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo, ZoomInfo, and Salesforce are required. This is a remote role with full-time hours.

Qualifications

• 2 years in SDR/BDR role; agency or SaaS experience is a plus.
• Strong written communication and personalization skills.
• Familiarity with outbound tools (Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo, ZoomInfo).
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build contact lists.
• Craft personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn, and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean Salesforce and SalesLoft records.
• Test messaging and tighten feedback with the sales team.
