Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Sales Development Representative to join our team across South Africa. You will own the top of the funnel by researching ideal accounts, identifying decision makers, and booking discovery calls for our Account Executives.

You’ll craft personalized outreach using email, LinkedIn, and phone. We value grit, curiosity, and coachability, and you will manage your own pipeline in Salesforce, with tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo, and ZoomInfo to hit volume

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR/BDR role; agency or SaaS experience is a plus.
• Strong written communication and ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools: Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
