Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a proactive Sales Development Representative to drive the top of the funnel across South Africa. You will research ideal accounts, identify decision makers and craft personalized outreach to book meetings with qualified prospects.

You will use tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to manage your pipeline, maintain clean records and support Account Executives with discovery calls.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR/BDR role; agency or SaaS experience a plus.
• Strong written communication and ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
