Placements24 seeks a skilled SCADA Systems Engineer to join their fully remote engineering team. You will design, implement, and maintain SCADA systems used in energy management and distribution, focusing on reliability and security across power grids and renewable assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of SCADA systems engineering experience in the energy sector.
• Proficiency with SCADA platforms and PLC programming; knowledge of Modbus, DNP3, OPC.
• Experience in network configuration and cybersecurity concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and implement SCADA systems for energy monitoring and control.
• Develop and maintain HMI/SCADA software, databases, and communication protocols.
• Perform system integration, testing, and commissioning of SCADA solutions.
• Troubleshoot SCADA hardware, software, and networks; ensure security and data integrity.
• Collaborate with operators and engineers to optimize system performance.
