Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Sales Development Representative across South Africa to own the top of the funnel by researching, sourcing and booking meetings with qualified decision makers. You will create the first impression of Blacksmith Agency for potential clients through thoughtful outreach and strategic use of tools like LinkedIn, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years in SDR/BDR role, SaaS or agency experience is a plus.
Strong written communication and ability to personalize outreach.
Familiarity with outbound tools: Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo, ZoomInfo.
Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
Gritty, curious, and coachable.

Responsibilities

Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
Test messaging and optimize targeting with the sales team.
