Placements24 seeks a seasoned Transportation Engineer to design and optimize road networks. You will work with a distributed team to deliver safe, efficient mobility solutions across regions, focusing on traffic flow and safety.

Requirements include a Civil/Transportation degree, Pr Eng or international license, 7+ years in road design, and proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and PTV Vissim. Remote collaboration and global project exposure are central to the role.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Transportation Engineering.
Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) designation or equivalent international professional license.
7+ years of experience in road and highway design, traffic engineering, and transportation planning.
Proficiency with transportation engineering software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, PTV Vissim, or similar.
Strong knowledge of traffic engineering principles, geometric design standards, and road safety audits.

Responsibilities

Design and plan road and highway networks, including intersections and geometry.
Conduct traffic analysis, capacity studies, and safety assessments with simulations.
Develop detailed drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
Collaborate with project managers, urban planners, and other engineers in a virtual team.
Ensure designs comply with national and international road standards.
Prepare technical reports and present findings remotely.
