Job summary

Exclusively Remote in South Africa is seeking a skilled QuickBooks Bookkeeper to support a US-based packaging client. The role focuses on day-to-day financial transactions, accurate records, and inventory-related cost tracking.

You will handle AP/AR, reconcile accounts, and generate monthly reports while maintaining up-to-date books. This is a fully remote, full-time position suitable for candidates in SA with strong QB experience.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online or QuickBooks Desktop.
• Solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounting procedures.
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and GL maintenance.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks Online or QuickBooks Desktop.
• Record daily transactions, including sales, purchases, expenses, and journal entries.
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial accounts.
• Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with month-end closing procedures.
• Track inventory-related transactions and cost of goods sold.
