Placements24 is seeking a Quantitative Analyst for a fully remote role with a cutting-edge trading firm. You will develop, test, and implement mathematical models to drive trading performance and collaborate with a global team.

The role requires a strong background in mathematics, statistics, CS, and financial markets, with proficiency in Python/C++/R and time series knowledge. Remote work with international teams offers flexible hours and exposure to advanced research.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in a quantitative field is required.
• 2+ years in quantitative analysis or algorithmic trading is expected.
• Strong programming skills in Python, C++, Java or R.
• Solid knowledge of statistics, time series, ML and financial math.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and large data processing.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, backtest, and implement trading models.
• Build production trading algorithms in Python/C++/R.
• Analyze large datasets to identify market patterns and signals.
• Monitor live trading systems for performance and risk.
• Collaborate with portfolio managers to refine strategies.
• Research new methodologies and technologies in quantitative finance.
• Document models, algorithms, and research clearly.
