Job summary

OpsFi is seeking a QA Tester to join our offshore division, working with SA and US-based teams. The role offers fully remote options within South Africa and a Cape Town hybrid setup, integrating into the Engineering team’s workflows.

You will execute robust testing, analyze requirements, and ensure defect-free releases while collaborating across time zones and technologies in a dynamic insurance-tech environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on software QA testing, technical support, or digital system configuration.
• Experience with manual testing, API testing, regression testing, and browser/mobile application testing.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive manual and system testing for web platforms and features.
• Translate business requirements and UI/UX designs into test cases and documentation.
• Perform API testing with Postman, regression and integration testing, and cross‑browser/mobile testing.
• Identify bugs, document issues clearly, and track defects with the dev team.
• Spot bottlenecks in internal tech stacks and suggest process improvements.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for complex system challenges.
