Placements24 is seeking a Remote Community Health Educator to design and deliver health education programs online for diverse South African communities, including Gauteng. In this fully remote role, you will create digital content, host webinars, and provide evidence-based health information to empower individuals to adopt healthier lifestyles.

The position requires a public health background, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently while coordinating with stakeholders

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Education, Nursing, or a related field.
• Proven experience in health education or community health promotion.
• Strong understanding of public health principles and practices.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, particularly in a virtual setting.
• Proficiency in developing digital content (e.g., presentations, infographics, online articles).
• Experience with online meeting platforms and digital communication tools.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet project deadlines.
• A passion for improving community health outcomes.
• Familiarity with the health landscape in South Africa is advantageous.
• A reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace are mandatory.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and adapt health education materials and programs for various audiences, utilizing digital formats.
• Deliver health education sessions and workshops via online platforms, webinars, and virtual meetings.
• Provide accurate and evidence-based health information and guidance to community members.
• Promote healthy behaviors and preventative health practices through engaging content creation.
• Collaborate with community organizations and stakeholders to identify health needs and tailor educational initiatives.

• Track and evaluate the effectiveness of health education programs and campaigns.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current health trends and public health initiatives.
• Respond to health-related inquiries from the community via digital channels.
• Contribute to the development of strategic health promotion plans.
