Placements24 is seeking a highly organized Remote Production Coordinator to join our fully remote operations team supporting East London, Eastern Cape manufacturing sites. You will drive production schedules, track progress, and coordinate resources from your home office.

This role emphasizes clear communication across departments, meticulous documentation, and proactive problem-solving to keep orders on track while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; admin/ops education is a plus.
• 2+ years in production support, coordination, or admin within manufacturing.
• Proven organizational and time-management abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy; effective remote collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate production activities and schedules to ensure timely completion of orders.
• Track production progress and update systems with real-time information.
• Liaise with production staff, supervisors, and other departments to facilitate workflow.
• Assist in managing material flow and ensuring availability of necessary components for production.
• Identify deviations from the production schedule or bottlenecks and report them.
• Maintain production documentation, logs, reports, and records.
• Support implementation of process improvements and operational initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to quality and safety standards within production processes.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders in a remote setting.
• Manage administrative tasks related to production planning and coordination.
