Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Remote Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations from anywhere. You will plan, schedule, and optimize production, ensure quality targets, and drive profitability while coordinating a distributed team of supervisors and staff.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in production management, a Bachelor's in Manufacturing Engineering or related field, and proven expertise in lean, Six Sigma, and cost control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in production management within the manufacturing sector.
• Experience leading remote teams and operations.
• Expertise in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement.
• Strong financial acumen with budgeting and cost control.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic production plans to meet company objectives and market demands.
• Oversee daily production operations, ensuring targets for quality, quantity, and cost are met.
• Manage and lead a remote team of production supervisors and staff, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Implement and enforce stringent quality control measures throughout the production process.
• Optimize production processes for efficiency, safety, and sustainability.
• Manage production budgets, control costs, and identify opportunities for cost savings.
