Job summary

Takealot Group in Cape Town is seeking a Product Manager to define and execute the Catalogue product roadmap, balancing commercial growth with robust compliance and risk management. You will partner with the Product Lead for Catalogue, translate business needs into IT user stories, manage end-to-end delivery, and communicate with stakeholders to keep initiatives on track.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or advanced diploma in IS/CS/Engineering/Commerce or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years in product management, business analysis, or related role.
• Experience driving large, company-wide initiatives is preferred.
• Familiarity with agile/iterative PM environments and e-commerce or compliance context is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain a Catalogue Product Roadmap aligned with strategic objectives.
• Translate business requirements into functional IT user stories and project specs.
• End-to-end project management from design to release and production launch.
• Measure success with relevant metrics and drive improvement through prioritised projects.
• Communicate with stakeholders to ensure input on prioritisation and execution.
