Placements24 invites a highly skilled Industrial Engineer specializing in Process Automation to join a global manufacturing group on a fully remote basis. You will drive digital transformation, design and implement automated systems, and optimize processes across facilities worldwide.

Responsibilities include creating automation roadmaps, risk assessments, data acquisition, remote troubleshooting, and training plant personnel.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
5+ years in industrial engineering with focus on process automation, robotics and control systems.
Experience designing, implementing and commissioning automated manufacturing solutions.

Responsibilities

Identify automation opportunities and build business cases for projects.
Design, specify, and commission automated systems (robotics, PLCs, HMI, vision).
Develop P&IDs, process flow diagrams, and engineering specs for automation.
Conduct risk assessments and implement safety protocols for automated systems.
Implement and optimize data acquisition and monitoring for continuous improvement.
Provide remote technical support for automated manufacturing equipment globally.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams across time zones to ensure project delivery.
Create training materials and deliver remote training on automation systems.
Stay current with automation tech, AI, and Industry 4.0 advances.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources for remote initiatives.
