Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Remote Pharmaceutical Process Engineer to join their global manufacturing operations team. This role focuses on optimizing and scaling up pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in process engineering in pharma/biopharma.
Strong knowledge of aseptic processing, bulk drug manufacturing, or formulation development.
Experience with process validation, scale-up, and technology transfer.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements governing pharmaceutical manufacturing.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and optimize pharmaceutical manufacturing processes for efficiency and scalability.
Conduct process validation studies per regulatory guidelines (e.g., cGMP).
Troubleshoot manufacturing process deviations and implement CAPA.
Lead technology transfer activities for new drug products from R&D to manufacturing sites.
Collaborate with R&D, Quality Assurance, and Manufacturing teams to ensure seamless process implementation.
Author and review process descriptions, validation protocols, and reports.
