Job summary

Mind Detect is seeking a Payments Solutions Consultant to join our world-class client solutions team in South Africa with remote/hybrid options in Cape Town. You will design bespoke payment solutions and act as a technical advocate during the early sales cycle, working at the intersection of sales, solutions consulting and product management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/SE/EE/Math or related field, or equivalent experience.
• PM experience with software engineers/technical teams.
• Customer-facing experience in sales or consulting.
• Ability to interact with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Ability to quickly grasp new technologies and complex concepts.
• Experience in fintech or B2B SaaS startup.
• Understanding of integration patterns and error handling.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a deep understanding of a portfolio of complex payment products.
• Design bespoke solutions for key customers using the company’s advanced product portfolio.
• Build a deep understanding of your client's payments environment and processes and bring this knowledge to internal Product and Engineering teams.
• Host solutioning workshops to advise customers on best practices during the sales or integration process.
• Work with product and engineering teams to translate client feedback into meaningful product insights.
