Blacksmith Agency is seeking an Account Strategist to own paid media for a portfolio of B2B and growing-brand clients. You’ll be the strategic voice on calls, directing targeting, budgets, roadmap, and your narrative when clients ask why. This role is remote for Canada, South Africa, or USA.

You will manage campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn and Microsoft Ads, optimizing budgets and performance while maintaining strong client relationships and clear communication.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on in Google Ads and Meta: you have built, run and optimized campaigns yourself.
• A track record of improving ROAS, CPA or pipeline metrics.
• Agency experience managing multiple clients simultaneously.
• Clear spoken English with US clients on live calls.

Responsibilities

• Own paid media for Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn and Microsoft Ads across accounts.
• Handle budget allocation, bidding, targeting, and creative testing; know when to pause or kill a campaign.
• Set up and trust conversion tracking: GA4, tag manager and platform pixels.
• Develop 90-day and quarterly roadmaps for each client and explain the numbers on calls.
• Drive account growth: retention, upsell, and long-term relationships.
