Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is hiring Sales Development Representatives across South Africa who are hungry to open doors and drive pipeline. As an outbound BDR, you will own the top of the funnel by researching accounts, sourcing contacts, and booking meetings with decision makers, shaping the first impression of Blacksmith for potential clients.

This remote role lets you work from anywhere in SA while you contribute to a high-velocity sales team, using tools like Salesforce, SalesLoft and LinkedIn to hit

Qualifications

• At least 2 years in SDR/BDR roles, agency or SaaS preferred.
• Strong written communication; able to personalize outreach.
• Experience with outbound tools (LinkedIn Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo, ZoomInfo).
• Comfortable managing your own pipeline in Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging and optimize targeting with the sales team.
