Placements24 is seeking a highly organized Remote Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a nationwide charity from a remote-first setup. You will coordinate administrative, logistical, and operational activities to support staff across locations in South Africa.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in operations management, strong budgeting, procurement, and policy development skills, and a passion for the nonprofit sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 5+ years in operations management, with remote or distributed teams.
• Experience developing and implementing operational policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee remote operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures for a remote team.
• Manage vendor relationships, procurement processes and inventory.
• Supervise administrative staff and provide guidance on best practices.
• Coordinate logistics for virtual meetings, events, and internal communications across distributed teams.
