Job summary

Placements24 seeks an experienced Operations Director to lead and transform operations for a distributed business, primarily remote with oversight across locations including the Eastern Cape.

The role focuses on driving efficiency, scalable solutions, and a culture of excellence, with accountability for strategic planning, P&L, and performance across a dispersed team in South Africa. You will partner with the executive team to set priorities and deliver superior service.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
• 10+ years of senior operations leadership experience, remote-friendly.
• Expertise in strategic planning, P&L management, and operations excellence.
• Strong leadership, change management, and communication skills.
• Ability to lead a geographically dispersed team in SA.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement operational strategies to support growth and profitability.
• Oversee and optimize service delivery, quality assurance, and processes.
• Lead and mentor operations managers across locations.
• Drive continuous improvement using technology and best practices.
• Establish and monitor KPIs to measure performance.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to align operations with company goals.
