The role demands a medical degree with Occupational Medicine specialization, HPCSA registration, and a track record of at least 10 years in OH, including leadership, with strong data and policy

Qualifications

• Doctoral level medical degree with Occupational Medicine specialization.
• Registration with HPCSA as medical practitioner (occupational medicine).
• Proven track record in occupational health program management.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement strategic occupational health programs across the organization.
• Oversee health assessments, surveillance, and health promotion initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with South African OH&S legislation and best practices.
• Manage relationships with external providers and ensure quality service delivery.
• Lead and mentor a remote team of OH professionals.
• Analyze health data to identify trends and interventions.
• Develop policies for workplace health, fitness for duty, and return-to-work.
• Provide expert guidance to senior management on OH matters.
