Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a talented NLP Engineer to join their fully remote team. You will design, implement, and deploy NLP models that enable machines to understand and generate human language, collaborating with product and engineering teams to integrate NLP capabilities into applications.

Ideal candidates have advanced degrees in CS or linguistics, 3+ years of NLP experience, strong Python skills, and hands-on experience with frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch and libraries such as spaCy

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computational Linguistics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in NLP engineering.
• Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with NLP libraries (NLTK, spaCy, Hugging Face).
• Experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Proficiency in text preprocessing, feature extraction, and sequence modeling techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy NLP models for tasks such as text classification, sentiment analysis, and named entity recognition.
• Build and maintain efficient data pipelines for processing and analyzing large volumes of text data.
• Implement and fine-tune state-of-the-art language models (e.g., Transformers, BERT).
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate NLP capabilities into applications.
• Evaluate and improve the performance of NLP models through rigorous testing and experimentation.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in NLP and related AI fields.
