Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Data Scientist with NLP specialization to join a fully remote team. You will develop and deploy NLP models for text classification, sentiment analysis, NER, and translation, using transformers, spaCy, and NLTK.

Collaborating with product managers and engineers, you will preprocess large text datasets, run experiments, and communicate insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders. A Master's or PhD in a relevant field is required.

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computational Linguistics, Data Science, or related field with a strong focus on NLP.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing NLP models for real-world applications.
• Proficiency in Python and extensive experience with NLP libraries and frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Develop, train, and deploy sophisticated NLP models for text classification, sentiment analysis, NER, and translation.
• Utilize deep learning techniques and state-of-the-art NLP libraries to build language models.
• Clean, preprocess, and analyze large volumes of unstructured text data.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to integrate NLP solutions into applications.
• Design and conduct experiments to evaluate model performance and identify improvements.
• Communicate complex findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
