Placements24 seeks an experienced Remote Network Infrastructure Engineer to design and maintain our global network architecture from a remote location. You will implement robust network solutions, troubleshoot complex issues, and optimize performance for users worldwide.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of network engineering experience, strong TCP/IP, BGP/OSPF, firewall skills, and cloud networking with AWS/Azure/GCP. CCNA/CCNP is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years in network engineering in infrastructure design and management.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP/OSPF), switching, and firewall management.
• Experience with cloud networking concepts and technologies (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• CCNA/CCNP or equivalent certifications are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage the company's network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Monitor network performance and availability, identifying and resolving bottlenecks or outages proactively.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including topology diagrams, configuration details, and operational procedures.
• Implement and enforce network security policies and best practices to protect against threats.
• Collaborate with IT teams to plan and execute network upgrades and migrations, ensuring minimal disruption to services.
• Provide Tier 3 support for complex network-related issues, working independently to find solutions.
