Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced MLOps Engineer to join a fully remote team. You will build and automate ML model lifecycles, deploy, monitor, and maintain ML systems across cloud platforms.

The role emphasizes collaboration with data scientists and software engineers to operationalize models and optimize cloud infrastructure for scalable, secure, and cost-efficient deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS, software engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in MLOps, DevOps for ML lifecycles.
• Strong Python and scripting skills.
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) experience.
• Containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn.
• Understanding of CI/CD principles and tools.
• Experience with ML model monitoring and governance.
• Excellent remote collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable MLOps pipelines for CI/CD of ML models.
• Implement tools and processes for model training, versioning, deployment, monitoring, and retraining.
• Collaborate with data scientists to operationalize ML models from development to production.
• Develop and manage infrastructure for ML model serving, including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement monitoring solutions for ML models in production, tracking performance and drift.
• Automate data validation, model validation, and testing procedures.
• Manage and optimize cloud-based ML infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Ensure security, compliance, and cost-efficiency of ML deployments.
• Stay updated with latest MLOps tools and practices.
• Provide technical guidance to data science and engineering teams.
