Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a skilled MLOps Engineer to join a distributed, remote-first team in the AI & Emerging Technologies field. You will bridge ML development and production deployment, building scalable automation and monitoring for ML models.

Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to deploy robust ML systems on cloud platforms, orchestrate containers with Kubernetes, and enforce reproducible ML workflows.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in software engineering or DevOps with a focus on MLOps or ML infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their ML services.
• Proficiency in Python programming.
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
• Understanding of machine learning concepts and workflows.
• Experience with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for machine learning models.
• Automate the training, testing, and deployment of ML models.
• Implement robust monitoring and alerting systems for ML model performance and system health.
• Manage and optimize ML infrastructure, including cloud resources and container orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes).
• Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to ensure smooth integration of ML models into production systems.
• Develop and enforce best practices for version control, testing, and reproducibility in ML workflows.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ML model deployment and operation.
• Contribute to the selection and implementation of MLOps tools and technologies.
• Ensure security and compliance of ML systems and data.
