Placements24 is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to design, develop, and deploy ML models in a remote-capable SA role. You will build scalable ML pipelines, collaborate with data scientists and engineers, and advance MLOps practices to ensure robust, ethical AI solutions across large datasets.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of production ML experience, strong Python proficiency, and hands-on work with TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Spark.

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Statistics, or related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in machine learning engineering or a closely related role.
• Strong programming skills in Python, with extensive experience using ML libraries.
• Proven experience in building and deploying machine learning models in production environments.
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement machine learning models and algorithms.
• Build and maintain robust, scalable ML pipelines for data processing, training, and deployment.
• Collaborate with data scientists to translate research models into production-ready code.
• Optimize machine learning models for performance, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Develop and manage MLOps practices, including model monitoring, versioning, and retraining.
• Integrate ML models into existing software systems and applications.
• Evaluate and experiment with new ML frameworks, tools, and techniques.
• Ensure the ethical and responsible use of AI and ML technologies.
• Work with large datasets and distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Spark).
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the team's technical growth.
