Responsibilities

• Provide expert legal advice on all aspects of mining law, including prospecting and mining rights applications, renewals, and transfers.
• Ensure compliance with the Mineral and Petroleum Resources Development Act (MPRDA) and other relevant legislation.
• Draft, review, and negotiate agreements related to mining operations, such as joint ventures, royalties, and supply agreements.
• Advise on environmental impact assessments, permits, and ongoing compliance with environmental laws.
• Manage legal aspects of community engagement and social responsibility initiatives related to mining projects.
