• Create intuitive and impactful visualizations and dashboards (e.g., using Tableau, Power BI) to communicate complex findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends, providing actionable recommendations for process improvements and cost reductions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including geologists, engineers, and operations managers, to understand their data needs and deliver tailored analytical solutions.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and methodologies in data analytics and their application within the mining sector.
• Ensure data integrity, quality, and security across all analytical projects.
• Automate reporting processes and data workflows to enhance efficiency and scalability.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mining Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• A Master's degree is a plus.
• Proven experience (5+ years) as a Data Analyst, preferably within the mining or heavy industry sector.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation, and experience with Python or R for statistical analysis and modeling.
• Expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Solid understanding of statistical concepts and machine learning techniques.
