Candidates should have 5+ years in metallurgical engineering, with expertise in mineral processing and software tools. Excellent remote collaboration and reporting capabilities are required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in metallurgical engineering with hands-on mineral processing.
- Proficiency in metallurgical software and simulation tools.
- Strong understanding of flotation, leaching, and gravity separation.
- Excellent analytical and remote communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Analyze test data and plant performance to identify improvements and cost reductions.
- Develop and optimize flowsheets for the extraction and recovery of minerals and metals.
- Troubleshoot processing plant issues with remote technical guidance.
- Conduct process simulations and modeling to predict outcomes and test new methodologies.
- Collaborate remotely with operations managers, geologists, and plant personnel to implement changes.
- Prepare technical reports, metallurgical accounting, and upgrade recommendations.
