Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical/electrical engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of reliability engineering experience for mechanical systems.
- Proficient in ReliaSoft and Minitab for statistical analysis.
- Experience with failure analysis techniques and physics of failure.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute reliability testing plans for mechanical components and systems.
- Perform failure analysis on returned products and test samples.
- Use statistics and reliability models to predict lifetime and assess risks.
- Collaborate with design engineers to embed reliability in product development (DfR).
- Define and track reliability metrics (MTBF, FIT) and report performance.
- Contribute to reliability standards and best practices within the organization.
