Placements24 is seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to join their fully remote team, serving clients globally from locations including George. You will design innovative mechanical solutions, conduct analyses, and contribute to the entire product lifecycle.

Work autonomously and with a distributed team of engineers and designers, leveraging cutting-edge CAD and simulation tools to deliver high-quality, scalable systems across industries.

Qualificações

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Proven experience in mechanical design, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Proficiency with industry-standard CAD (e.g., Inventor, CATIA) and simulation (e.g., ANSYS) software.
• Excellent understanding of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts effectively in a remote setting.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop mechanical systems and components using CAD software.
• Perform detailed engineering analyses, including stress, thermal, and vibration analysis.
• Collaborate with product managers and electrical engineers to define project requirements.
• Create and manage technical documentation (drawings, BOMs, test procedures).
• Participate in remote design reviews and improve design processes.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for deployed systems and products.
